01When should I schedule my newborn session?
I recommend that you contact me a few months before your due date to get your session on the schedule, so we can have a date around that time carved out for you! But don’t hesitate to check with me if your due date is coming up soon or if you’ve already had the baby – I may have an opening!

02How old should my baby be for newborn sessions?
For a true newborn session, I prefer to photograph the babies within 10 or 14 days of birth. After that they become more alert and less sleepy/able to be posed. It is do-able though, so don’t hesitate to contact me regardless of age!

03Do you have a studio where you take newborn photos?
I DO!! You will bring your sweet bundle to my natural light studio in Edinboro, at 11515 Lay Road, and there I will take a series of naturally posed photos of your baby with various props, blankets, and set ups.

04Do you also do pictures of mom, dad, siblings or pets with the baby?
We absolutely will! These photos are so important. We will do some photos of mom and dad together with baby, and then each parent alone with the baby. And if you have any other children or pets we can incorporate them too!

05Do I need to bring anything with me to the session?
The only thing you need to bring with you is yourself, pacifiers if the baby takes one (although I have some at the studio too), diapers, and your preferred method of feeding the baby! I have TONS of wraps, props, a few outfits, sweet headbands and hats, blankets, backdrops, a rocking chair a couch, and everything here at the studio that you will need to dress up the baby and get beautiful photos. If you have something special you want to use for a photograph of the baby, we can incorporate it, just let me know before the session!

06Will you come to my home to take newborn photos?
This is definitely an option. If you prefer a more relaxed and lifestyle-type session, I can come to your home and photograph you all together as you are in your home, doing your thing with your new baby. These photos of the baby would be much less posed. I would bring a few wraps with me, but other then that it would be just you guys as you are at your home and we’d work with the light and furniture you have available!

A single photograph celebration to document every detail of your newborn, including family and sibling shots and multiple poses and set ups. This session is on-location at your home or a location of choice. These sessions can take anywhere from 2-3 hours, as we include time for feeding and comforting baby for sleepy poses!

Please inquire about details for your birth story. Every birthing experience is completely unique so I will create a custom package for how you would like this incredible event covered. It is $125 per hour that you would like me to be there to cover pre-birth, during birth, or after. This can also include me coming to the hospital to do a “Fresh48” session, the day after the baby is born, which includes a casual newborn session and family pictures at the hospital! Digital files and additional prints and products are sold separately.
